The building was part of a historic former military development built in England to confront the war
against Napoleón. Originally, a system of store buildings by an artificial canal helped distribute munitions and other goods throughout the country. With time, these historic buildings have been updated to adopt new uses. In this particular case, the robust and, at the same time, attractive space has been restored to offices.
The project, although humble, embraces the key industrial elements that make this project unique,
and offers a new functionality without losing its essence. The new services remain visible, enhancing the honest materials used in their construction. The new use becomes a way to maintain the building and help in the conservation of this historic legacy.
